Who we are?
Peniel Pentecostal Assembly, Beaumont.
ENLIGHTEN, ENRICH & EMPOWER
Peniel Pentecostal Assembly, Beaumont, is an associate church of Evangelical Missionary Church of Canada (EMCC). We are located in Beaumont (3 km south of the city of Edmonton). We are a Christian community in the Pentecostal Experience, celebrating together our life as the people of the living God. We have worship services in following languages English, Malayalam, Hindi, Punjabi and Telugu.
As a people, we worship God together, hear and study scripture, teach, learn, serve, sing, pray and play. We aim to use our time, money, resources, gifts and talents to serve Jesus Christ and our neighbor’s near and far. By honoring one another, welcoming strangers, and praying for friends and enemies, we strive to live in such a way that we are a sign of God’s peace and well-being in the city and beyond, a prophetic witness to God’s coming reign of wholeness and peace.
We celebrate and express our identity, purpose and mission through Spirit filled worship, teaching and learning for all ages. With Bible studies and weekly small group meetings, we strive to grow and be close to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
In accordance with our call and vision, we participate in local community activities and provide a helping hand with local charities and Christian organizations such as Evangelical Missionary Church of Canada, Beaumont Community Church, Good Samaritan and Hope Mission.
We pray that the life of God will be visible through us in all that we do together in the name of Jesus Christ and in the power of the Holy Spirit.
What We Believe?
We believe the Holy Scriptures (The Holy Bible) to be the divinely breathed, infallible, inerrant and authoritative Word of God.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in the Persons of the Holy Trinity (God the Father, Jesus the Son and Holy Spirit).
We believe in the virgin birth of the Lord Jesus Christ, His deity, His sinless humanity and perfect life, the eternal all-sufficiency of His atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the Father's right hand, and His personal coming again at His second advent.
We believe that justification is a judicial act of God on the believer's behalf solely on the merits of Christ, and that regeneration by the power of the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation.
We believe in holy living, the present day reality of the baptism in the Holy Spirit according to Acts 2:4, the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and the Lord's supernatural healing of the human body.
We believe in Christ's Lordship of the Church, the observance of the ordinances of Christian baptism by immersion for believers, and the Lord's Supper.
We believe in the eternal blessedness of the redeemed in heaven and the eternal doom of the unregenerate in the lake of fire.
Our Mission - What We Do?
We are driven by the knowledge that every soul matters to the Lord. It is our mission to advance the cause of Christ by demonstrating His love and care, so that as many people as possible have opportunity to know Christ as their Saviour and Lord.
We are committed to our mission to:
Enlighten hearts by presenting Jesus Christ who is the Light of the World.
Enriching lives with the knowledge and understanding of Jesus Christ through training, teaching and fellowship.
Empowering people to carry their cross and walk daily in the anointing and power of the Holy Spirit.
